While browsing wikipedia, I came across an entry on a scientist named Ronald Mallett who is working on oth time travel theorum and a functional device. I felt compelled to write to him. The letter is as follows:
Dr. Mallett,
As much as I appreciate your temporal theories I must interject. If one were to transport a bowling ball five years into the past/future it would set off an infinite series of bowling balls to occupy the space of the original ball. The reason is that time is analog. The result would be one of two. The competing mater would set of an infinite self fueling nuclear reaction, or displace/rupture the preexisting matter infinitely reaching a point of infinite mass resulting in a gravitic collapse forming a black hole. Past travel of the ball destroys existence after the temporal arrival, thus resulting in the grandfather paradox. Future travel nullifies everything prior to the temporal arrival. Bear in mind these are only my speculations.

After sending this i realized that i meant to day space-time discontinuity effect in place of grandfather paradox.
Yes, I am a geek.
